Our standard refund policy is as follows: cancellations made 15 days prior to the arrival date receive a 100% refund, those made between 7 to 15 days prior receive a 50% refund, and no refund is provided for cancellations within 7 days; however, during peak periods (May & June, Long Weekends), cancellations made 21 days prior receive a 100% refund, those made between 21 to 15 days prior receive a 70% refund, and cancellations made between 7 to 15 days prior receive a 30% refund, with no refund given for cancellations within 7 days—all cancellations and refunds being processed after deducting GST. This property only accepts cash payments, and rooms will be held until 6 PM on the day of arrival unless prior notice of a late arrival is provided; early check-in and late check-out are considered on a case-by-case basis depending on room availability, with prices subject to change without prior notice and GST applicable as per Government of India regulations. A maximum of 3 adults or 2 adults with two children under 5 years is allowed per room, with extra mattresses available for additional adults or children. NRIs/foreigners must show their passport at check-in, while Indian citizens must present a valid photo ID; furthermore, if a guest books using their credit card, they must present the card at check-in, and if a booking is made using someone else’s credit card, a copy of the card along with a no-objection letter from the card owner must be provided. Pema’s Cottage reserves the right to cancel the booking if identity verification is not completed due to missing or false documents, with no refund issued in such cases. Guests are permitted a maximum of two pets per room, and each pet must be fully trained and appropriately restrained by the guest; please note that pets are not allowed in the baithak where food is served, and if there are any food requirements, guests must inform us at least three days prior to check-in so that necessary arrangements, subject to availability, can be made |
