Himkosi Farm Cottage is located inside the Himkosi Farm near Almora, Uttarakhand, an operational organic farm aimed at providing the guests with an experience that enriches the body and soul by providing you with food, herbs, and pulses grown organically. Wake up to the chirping of the birds and enjoy your morning tea and breakfast outdoors on our stone and clay table. During the day, you can roam around the parts of the farm at will, go for long walks along the river Kosi or join us in our guided activities such as fishing, mountain hikes, and farming, among others.
The Himkosi Farm Cottage offers homely stay facilities within the farm, offering the guests an authentic experience of a farm stay and village life. The farm stay also has a small library and a collection of indoor games for guests.
We take the guests for a farm tour where we explain to them our organic growing methods and show them various aspects of the farm; the guests can even join us in a few farming activities that are going on at the farm; we also offer the experience of farm to table. Other than this, we have a village walk to the local village where people can experience the kumaoni style of life; we also organize riverside walks and picnics for the guests where the guests can laze around or go for a dip; the choice is theirs. Other activities like outdoor meals, lazing around in a hammock, reading a book, and having movie nights on a projector are just some other things that enhance another person’s experience.
