Chestnut – located on the ground floor of the beautifully converted main barn – is a spacious and luxurious retreat for two. Designed to offer calm and tranquillity, it features a private garden with a sunken hot tub, breathtaking views, and direct access to a sun-drenched terrace, leaving guests feeling truly refreshed and rejuvenated.

Guests can reach Chestnut either by descending charming brick and terracotta-tiled steps to a small patio with a solid stone bench or via a wheelchair-accessible path that gently curves around the private gardens and leads to the front door.

Inside, a welcoming lobby opens into a solid oak kitchen. Beyond, stunning double ash doors set within a wooden screen lead to an inviting living and dining space. Here, you’ll find exposed beams and joists, a unique open fireplace, and a luxurious African slate floor. A large sofa bed is available for additional guests.

Unwind in the armchairs by elegant oak-framed French windows or step directly into the sunny courtyard, where your private seating area is tucked between a potted lemon tree and hydrangeas.

The bedroom, accessed through a curtained wooden archway, features a curved window seat and a reading table with serene views of the pond and the Cotswold valley beyond. Internal wooden shutters provide a cosy, secluded feel. The ensuite bathroom is beautifully finished with oak panelling, African slate flooring, and a spacious walk-in shower.

Chestnut’s private garden is arranged over two wheelchair-friendly tiers, adorned with detailed brickwork, woven hazel hedges, LED lighting, and stunning panoramic views. The lower level features ergonomic hardwood benches and a chiminea for stargazing on cool evenings. The upper garden boasts a sunken hot tub alongside a charming circular mosaic table and chairs.
